Storytelling & Science
On the Edge
Brand / Media / Creative Process
Collaborating with a media team and scientists was awe-inspiring as we aimed to create visuals that would captivate a social media audience with stories from nature.
From birth, we are shaped by narratives that help us understand the world, driving our interests and ambitions as we navigate life. Here are some of my favourite facts brought to life at OTE. Crafting these mini-stories was a blast, feeding my addiction to creating stories from complex ideas.

Animals in Therapy Facts
Season 01
Created packaging for Animals in Therapy and the social campaign supporting the YouTube series. Working alongside illustrators helped weave many facts into one image or a series of information led posts. Rethinking the infographic and having fun while doing it.
The Elephant Shrew with a surprising lineage on the Tree of Life, to the illegal pet trade of the Slow Loris.
Parthenogenesis
Animals in Therapy S1
One of the most complex facts I have ever had to digest and regurgitate for all to understand. Parthenogenesis, say that five times fast, is a complex scientific process that can twist your mind when you learn about it.
Since the scientific explanation is trippy, working with Joe Taylor helped me accentuate facts woven into a very complex scientific process. This was my interpretation of visually understanding parthenogenesis specific to the California Condor’s story. Listen with audio on for the explanation.
From behind the scenes at Kew Gardens to our bizarre production about the life of a fly and a carnivorous plant. I truly cracked a gut making this series.

Mushrooms are trippy, and it only seemed natural to create a campaign all about them.
